Frequency Noise -The natured color of EL (electro-luminescent ) is between blue and green, we design the inverter with high and low frequencies, the high frequency will emit the EL to glow blue color, and the low frequency will emit EL to glow green color. A switch on the dimmer allows you to change frequency /color. However a disadvantage of the design for blue glowing will cause high frequency noise. There is no solution to remove the noise but can minimize the noise by decreasing the brightness or switching to green light section. If the glow gauge is white light, the high frequency will emit cold white, and low frequency emits warmer white light. Before purchasing this item, please consider this fact. 2. Product condition Make sure the item is Brand New item or Stock clearance item. Installation Guide: TEST before installation: Connect each piece of gauge to adaptor that comes with the kit, then test the kit by connecting to 12VDC battery or power supplier. The adapter offers 4 plugs, If the gauge kit needs less than 4 plugs, you can cover the unused plug with electric tape. Do not connect the gauge panel to 12 VDC power without the inverter/adapter. The EL glow gauge is emitted by AC voltage, the adapter(inverter) will transform the 12VDC to 50~75 VAC. After connecting to power, don't touch bare terminals or solder points over the output side, will cause uncomfortable electric shock. Installation steps: Turn off the car. Remove screws that hold the bezel and cluster. Disconnect the wire plugs to the cluster. Remove the clear cover that protects the needles and the black housing around the gauge. If there are screws that hold the faceplate remove them. Gently slide the gauge face over the needle. Locate a spot to run wire in the cluster. Screw in the screws to the faceplate, if removed. Install backthe clear protection cover. Plug the connectors of faceplates to inverter. Locate the adapter and dimmer controller to desired place.
